CooperAction is a non-profit Italian association founded in 2008. It originates from the desire of a professionals group coming from the both "no profit" and "for profit" worlds to create long-term sustainable development projects with the balance among social equity, economics and ecology.
CooperAction works to promote a culture of peace, public, economic and organizational care, in order to enhance the protection of human rights and improve the quality of life of inhabitants in places affected by social, economic, political and cultural crisis.

CooperAction believes in a participatory and bottom-up approach, implementing the following initiatives:

• Economic, social, civil and micro-business initiatives, supported through public awareness and fund-raising campaigns
• Education and training in order to enhance and disseminate skills, which self-generates activities, and encourages commitment and contentment of the most discriminated and disadvantaged populations in Italy and abroad

CooperAction creates and implements sustainable development projects in Italy and abroad, in particular for the most vulnerable people. Moreover "CooperAction" want inform and make aware the people about socioeconomic, environmental and dramatic problems that exist around Our World through awareness and informing campaigns.
