The project “Strengthening national capacity to combat GBV” covers the provinces of Kabul, Bamyan, Nangarhar and Daykundi. The overall goal of the project is to combat gender-based violence through building and development of institutional competence of GBV referral actors and enhancing coordination mechanisms. In this project the priority in achieving gender related outcomes and outputs will be given to strengthening the institutional and managerial capacity of the government bodies, service providers, including health professionals and law enforcement bodies and legal actors for addressing gender based violence. This project is funded by UNFPA and implemented by HAWCA.
