Emergency aid to people in need in Kabul

The Regime change in Afghanistan displaced more than one million Afghans, most of whom relocated to Kabul. Next to it, due to the economic downturn, a large number of people lost their jobs and settled down. On the other hand, a large number of people who worked in various government offices have not received their salaries for more than 3 months. In addition, the banks are closed and the people who had money in the banks faced economic problems. A survey conducted by HAWCA shows that a large number of families do not have regular food to eat every day. To help internally displaced persons and widows, HAWCA has made effort to raise funds from its friends and supporters. Today HAWCA was able to provide some of the families with the required food items in order to enable them to have proper nutrition for a month or two. The people were happy and thanked the donors for their support.
