This center was established in March 2003, the establishment of this center was another great achievement for HAWCA to struggle against illiteracy in Afghanistan.  Two hundred women and over aged girls (those girls that older than the age of attending school) were taking the advantage of this literacy center. Each student had the necessary school materials (pencils, rubbers, sharpeners, a color pencils box, notebooks and books). In this center students were sitting on chairs and were provided with other necessities of a education center. They were studying for three hours in a day from 8:30 to 12:30, and wer be graduated after passing three years of academic years. It worth mentioning that all of the literacy centers of HAWCA in different provinces of Afghanistan were following the curriculum of MoE of Afghanistan and after completing the course they were awarded with certificates of honor that were approved by MoE.
